Job Description & Requirements
Accounting, General Admin Matters
- Manage full set accounts, including receipts updates, vendor invoices processing, payment arrangements, journal entries, inter-company charges, bank reconciliation, balance sheet schedules, fixed assets registers and general ledger maintenance.
- Ensure all accounting records are kept up-to-date and maintained promptly and accurately.
- Handle all regulatory submissions including GST returns.
- Process payments to suppliers.
- Liaise with the external auditor and tax agents.
- Responsible for timely preparation of quarterly branch reporting.
- Report to the Directors and handle ad-hoc assignments.
HR Matters
- Responsible for full spectrum of HR functions.
- Responsible for payroll processes, claims expenses, CPF filing and other related matters.
- Manage recruitment cycle including sourcing, arrange for interview, and salary proposal.
- Process Work pass application, renewable and cancellation.
- Coordinate with insurance agents with regards to cancellation, renewal and new coverage of insurances.
- Implementation of new HRM system.
- File AIS and IR21.
Requirements
- ACCA/Diploma in Accounting or equivalent with 5 - 10 years of relevant working experience.
- Possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Possess strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Possess knowledge in GST, Local Tax Regulations, and Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (FRS).
- Initiative, well organized, meticulous and able to work independently.
- Fast learner with a positive attitude and able to multi-task.
- Ability to converse and liaise with external English and Chinese speaking vendors.
- Experience with accounting practices in retail industry will be an advantage.
- Immediate availability or short notice period will be preferred.
