Roles & Responsibilities
Job Description:
- To check, co-ordinate and integrate all works (mechanical and electrical) and highlight any discrepancies, to the Superintending Officer.
- To monitor and provide weekly report to the consultants and Superintending Officer on the progress of works to ensure timely completion.
- Liaise and coordinate with Superintending Officer/consultants to resolve technical and/or interfaction issues with contractors.
- To check and inform the Superintending Officer of any discrepancy between mechanical and electrical and other drawings with site conditions prior to the commencement of work.
- To co-ordinate with Contractor and site supervision staff for access openings and services openings and the proper running of all pipe works and cables trays or trunkings.
- To be responsible for the rectification of mechanical and electrical defects during the Defects Liability Period. All defects must be made good to the satisfaction of the Superintending Officer.
- To undertake other duties including administrative tasks related to the project and when directed by the Superintending Officer.
- To compile and submit all mechanical and electrical systems proposed by the Contractor for the Superintending Officer for approval.
Requirements
- Junior and senior position available.
- Technical Officer (M&E) engaged for the contract shall have minimum three years working experiences in supervision works of building and construction. The Resident Technical Officer – M&E shall be accredited with the Joint Accreditation Committee of the Institute of Engineers Singapore and the Association of Consulting Engineers.
- Be self-motivated and a team player, Strong supervisory and leadership skills
- Understanding of contract requirements
- Those that do not have the relevant experience but show a good attitude to learn may apply.
