About
Building a world where people can safely discover, create and connect. The Trust & Safety (T&S) team at TikTok helps ensure that our global online community is safe and empowered to create and enjoy content across all of our applications. We have invested heavily in human and machine-based moderation to remove harmful content quickly and often before it reaches our general community.
Responsibilities
- Craft safety process and strategy for the Thailand, Myanmar and Laos users community on TikTok platforms with a focus on local regulatory requirements and safety considerations for all impacted parties.
- Address various metric changes across various features such as video, live, comments, follow/like, accounts, etc. with both qualitative and quantitative approaches to detect potential risks and mitigate them.
- Facilitate effective collaboration on safety and compliance projects from problem definition to final execution with cross functional stakeholders; optimize the process and procures to ensure timely and effective delivery.
- Identify the impact on users and markets ahead of feature launches and clearly communicate risks to relevant stakeholders.
- Educate and update the business on Trust & Safety related programs and features via team and company wide sharing.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
- Min. 3 years of work experience in program or project management/consulting/strategy; a plus if with online safety/ risk control/regulatory compliance.
- Ability to effectively communicate in both Thai and English is essential for this role, as you will be predominantly covering the Thai market and closely collaborating with Thai-speaking stakeholders. Familiarity with Thailand's internet user base and the changing regulatory environment is also required.
- Ability to quickly identify problems, thoroughly analyze them and be resourceful in delivering feasible solutions.
- Experienced in working closely with cross functional stakeholders such as legal, compliance and public relations teams.
Preferred Qualifications
- Highly data driven, capable of in-depth data interpretation; a plus if proficient in SQL.
- Experience with project management and coordination with regards to software products.
