Job Summary


A finance manager oversees the financial management and reporting of the company and is responsible for budgeting as well as supporting senior management by providing insight and financial advice that enables them to make the best business decisions for the company.


Main Duties and Responsibilities

  • Provide reporting and analysis of monthly, quarterly, and yearly business performance, including preparation of statutory/ management reports, sales reports and financial statements
  • Analyse performance against competitors/industry and provide recommendations to stakeholders
  • Perform/ Supervise audits (e.g. outlet cash audits) and recommend best practices and effective controls to mitigate risk and enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of operations
  • Responsible for periodic cashflow forecast
  • Responsible for daily finance operation of designated operation
  • Liaise with external auditor and tax agent on matters pertaining to finance
  • Supervise and review the preparation of consolidated financial statements, business activity reports and forecasts for management and internal stakeholders
  • Assess the chargeable gains and losses of the organisation, as well as capital gain tax liabilities
  • Identify and calculate both financial and non-financial performance measurements for reporting on the organisation’s performance
  • Oversee the preparation of the organisation’s budget
  • Determine and apply marginal and absorption standard costing concepts to calculate costs variances and profit variances
  • Plan and coordinate the annual financial audit process
  • Lead, manage and assess team efficiency and performance
  • Any adhoc duties as assigned

Education


•  Candidate must possess at least a diploma or a bachelor’s degree in accountancy/finance.
•  ACCA certified will be an added advantage.


Experience


•  At least 5 to 8 years’ experience of working experience working in related field is required for this position.
•  Preferably with experience in F&B Industry.
•  Ability to work under stress and meet communicated schedules and deadlines.
•  Proficient in MS office and Excel and familiar with Business Central
