Senior Finance Manager

The Senior Finance Manager will play a crucial role in overseeing the financial operations of the healthcare group. This position is responsible for managing the finance team, ensuring accurate financial reporting, implementing effective financial strategies, and providing insights to support the group’s growth and sustainability. The Senior Finance Manager will work closely with the CFO and other senior leaders to align financial practices with the organization’s mission and objectives.


Key Responsibilities:

  1. Financial Reporting and Analysis:Oversee the preparation of accurate and timely financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
    Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
    Prepare and present financial reports to senior management and stakeholders.
  2. Budgeting and Forecasting:Lead the annual budgeting process, working with department heads to develop realistic and achievable budgets.
    Monitor and manage budget performance, providing regular updates and variance analyses.
    Develop financial forecasts and models to support strategic planning and decision-making.
  3. Financial Planning and Strategy:Collaborate with the CFO to develop and implement long-term financial strategies that support the healthcare group’s objectives.
    Provide financial insights and recommendations to senior management to drive business growth and operational efficiency.
    Evaluate and manage financial risks, ensuring that the group maintains financial stability.
  4. Cost Management and Optimization:Identify opportunities to optimize costs and improve financial performance across the group.
    Implement cost control measures and monitor their effectiveness.
    Work with operational teams to streamline processes and enhance resource allocation.
  5. Compliance and Internal Controls:Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations and standards, including healthcare-specific regulations.
    Maintain and improve internal controls to safeguard the organization’s assets.
    Coordinate with external auditors and regulatory bodies to ensure accurate reporting and compliance.
  6. Team Leadership and Development:Lead and mentor the finance team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional growth.
    Oversee the recruitment, training, and development of finance staff.
    Set performance goals and conduct regular performance evaluations for the finance team.
  7. Stakeholder Management:Build and maintain strong relationships with key internal and external stakeholders, including department heads, vendors, and financial institutions.
    Provide financial support and guidance to other departments to facilitate informed decision-making.
  8. Investment and Capital Management:Manage the group’s investment portfolio, ensuring optimal returns while mitigating risks.
    Oversee capital expenditure projects, ensuring they align with the group’s financial strategy and objectives.
    Evaluate potential mergers, acquisitions, and other strategic opportunities from a financial perspective.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; MBA or CPA preferred.
  • Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in finance, with at least 3-5 years in a senior management role, preferably in the healthcare sector.
  • Strong understanding of healthcare finance, including reimbursement models, healthcare regulations, and financial reporting standards.
  • Proven track record of managing financial operations, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to mentor and develop finance professionals.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
  • Proficiency in financial software and systems, including ERP systems and advanced Excel skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
  • High level of integrity and professionalism, with a commitment to ethical financial management
