We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Finance Manager to join our dynamic finance team. This role is pivotal in overseeing various financial operations, ensuring robust contract management, asset management, and governance compliance. The ideal candidate will bring a strategic mindset, strong analytical skills, and a proven track record in financial management and oversight.
As the Finance Manager, you will oversee and lead the finance team to ensure effective financial management and compliance with governance and policy standards. Your role involves supervising the preparation and review of monthly financial reports for both temples and non-temples, ensuring accuracy and adherence to established financial policies. You will be responsible for reviewing and managing finance and accounting systems to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Key responsibilities include scheduling, planning, and finalizing the statutory audit process for HEB and its affiliated units, addressing any related matters. Additionally, you will provide guidance and support to the finance team, including those working with temple finances, to foster a collaborative and high-performing work environment. Your role is crucial in maintaining financial integrity and supporting the overall financial health of the organization.

Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (Master’s degree or professional certification
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial management, with at least 3 years in a senior managerial role
- Demonstrated experience in contract management, fixed asset management, and financial governance
- Strong analytical skills with a proven ability to interpret complex financial data
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with various stakeholders
- Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel)
- Financial Reporting Standards and Knowledge of Charity Standards will be an added advantage
- Various financial, GST knowledge and audit process knowledge
