Eigen Energy is a systems integrator for solar energy and electric vehicle charging infrastructure, with technical competencies in engineering and construction, energy management, software engineering and cross-platform integration.
The Quantity Surveyor plans, controls, and monitors the tender drawing, documents, and BQs for all projects, in both pre and post-tender stages. You will collaborate closely with the project engineers and assist in verifying the site progress, claims, and monitor the material balance sheet in the execution stage.
The Quantity Surveyor will report to the Operations Manager
Responsibilities (include but not limited to):
- Source and prepare information for participation in tender exercise according to requirements for submission, keeping track of all tender documents
- Preparation of bill of quantities, which involves quantity take-off, materials sourcing, measurements, and estimations of material and labour costs
- Ensure all documentary evidence and contemporary records are properly documented, organised and filed for substantiation purposes
- Review and perform administration of documents with recommendations for contractual dispute
- Ensures the timely submission of VO cost on day to day or weekly basis and communicates with the project manager on the timely submission of monthly progress claims and final account
Requirements:
- Diploma in Engineering (Civil, Electrical or related)
- Able to read M&E drawings
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
