Credit Control Officer/Executive
Role and Responsibilities:
- Responsible for prompt collection of all outstanding debts by monitoring overdue accounts receivables
- Ensure settlements are made promptly to clients by monitoring overdue accounts payables
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies in balances with clients
- Liaise closely internal and external parties, proactively build and foster strong relationships
- Ensure the allocation of receipts/payments is accurately updated promptly into the accounting system
- Prepare journal entries when it is necessary
- Resolves unallocated receipts by reviewing the debtor ledger, and payment history, and communicating with internal or external parties.
- Perform accounts reconciliation on time
- Follow procedures regarding accounting/credit control activities
- Ad hoc reporting on other accounting/credit control activities as required
- Assist the Superior and support the operational business as required
Requirements:
- Degree in any discipline
- Exceptional attention to detail, organized and good time management
- Familiarity with bookkeeping and basic accounting procedures
- Ability to communicate effectively within the organization and work independently
- Proficient with MS Office, in particular, Excel and Outlook
- Commitment to service excellence
