Head of Marketing and Business Development

About the School:

We are an EduTrust certified Private Education Institution based in Singapore with over a decade of successful track record. The Head of Marketing and Business Development at Uwing is a leadership role responsible for driving the school’s growth through strategic marketing initiatives and business development activities. This individual will lead efforts to enhance the school's brand visibility, increase student enrollment, and establish strategic partnerships that align with the school's mission and values.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Strategic Marketing:

a. Develop and implement a comprehensive marketing and business development strategy aligned with the school’s vision and goals.

b. Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify opportunities for growth and differentiation.

2. Enrollment Growth:

a. Design and execute marketing campaigns to drive student enrollment.

b. Organize and participate in events such as open houses, education fairs, and information sessions to attract prospective students and parents.

3. Business Development:

a. Identify and establish strategic partnerships with business, educational institutions, and other organisations to enhance the school’s offerings and visibility

b. Explore new markets and opportunities for expanding the school’s reach, including the development of new program and services

c. Negotiate and manage contracts with external partners, vendors and services providers

4. Brand Management:

a. Oversee the school’s brand positioning, ensuring consistent messaging across all channels

b. Manage the development of marketing materials, including brochures, digital content and advertisements.

c. Lead the school’s digital marketing efforts, including website management, social media, and online campaigns.

5. Stakeholder engagement:

a. Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including alumni, parents, and community leaders.

b. Represent the school at various forums, conferences, and events to enhance its profile and network.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.

2. Proven track record of independently developing and executing successful marketing and business development strategies, specifically in the education industry

3. Deep understanding of all marketing channels and their related strategies, including social media

Skills:

1. Excellent communication, presentation, interpersonal skills

2. Fast learner, self-starter, problem solver

3. Ability to think strategically and creatively, with a focus on results and impact

4. Ability to speak another Asian language and existing sales leads in Asian countries would advantageous
