Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly experienced and bilingual Project Manager to oversee the development of a luxury hotel in Phnom Penh, Cambodia. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management, particularly within the hospitality industry, and must be fluent in both Chinese and English. This role requires excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Project Planning & Execution:
  • Lead the planning, execution, and completion of the luxury hotel project, ensuring it meets the highest standards of quality, budget, and timeline.
  • Develop and manage detailed project plans, timelines, and budgets.
  • Coordinate with architects, designers, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure project milestones are met.
  • Oversee the procurement of materials and services, ensuring compliance with project specifications.
• Team Leadership:
  • Manage and supervise the project team, including architects, engineers, contractors, and other consultants.
  • Facilitate effective communication and collaboration among team members.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to ensure the project is executed to the highest standards.
• Stakeholder Management:
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for all project-related communications with stakeholders, including investors, local authorities, and the hotel management team.
  • Ensure clear and consistent communication between all parties involved in the project.
  • Manage expectations and address any concerns or issues that arise during the project lifecycle.
• Risk Management:
  • Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize project disruptions.
  • Monitor project progress and proactively address any issues that could impact the project timeline or budget.
• Compliance & Quality Control:
  • Ensure that the project complies with all local regulations, building codes, and industry standards.
  • Implement and oversee quality control processes to ensure the highest level of workmanship.
• Financial Management:
  • Monitor project costs and manage the budget effectively.
  • Prepare and present regular financial reports to stakeholders.
  • Identify opportunities for cost savings without compromising on quality.

Qualifications:

• Language Proficiency:
  • Fluent in Chinese (Mandarin) and English, both written and spoken.
• Education:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
  • PMP or other relevant certifications are highly desirable.
• Experience:
  • Minimum of 10-15 years of experience in project management, with a focus on luxury hotel development or high-end construction projects.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale projects from inception to completion.
• Skills:
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make informed decisions under pressure.
  • Proficient in project management software and tools.
  • Strong understanding of construction processes, building codes, and regulations.
