Our client - a financial payment gateway company based in Singapore is currently hiring for a dynamic and experienced Project Manager with a strong background in payment systems.
Responsibilities
- Oversee and lead the complete lifecycle of payment system projects, encompassing scope definition, resource allocation, budgeting, and timeline management.
- Manage detailed project plans with clear milestones, deliverables, and strategies for risk management.
- Work with cross-functional teams, including IT, finance, operations, and compliance, to ensure successful project execution.
- Serve as the primary liaison for all project stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and alignment with project objectives.
- Conduct regular project meetings, providing updates on progress, risks, and issues.
- Identify, evaluate, and address project risks to prevent potential obstacles from impacting the project.
- Resolve project-related issues and escalate them to senior management
- Track and report on project financials, comparing actual costs to budgeted figures.
- Ensure that all project outputs meet quality standards and comply with regulatory requirements.
- Conduct post-implementation evaluations to assess project success and identify areas for improvement.
- Provide technical guidance and support to project teams to ensure effective design and implementation of payment systems.
- Prepare and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including status reports, change requests, and project closeout reports.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field.
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in project management, focused on payment systems or financial technology projects.
- Proven track record of managing complex, multi-stakeholder projects from inception to completion.
- Strong understanding of payment processing technologies and related security protocols.
- Proficient in project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, etc.)
