Job Responsibilities:
- Audit Oversight: Lead the annual external audit cycle for the group, ensuring timely approval of audited financial statements by the Board.
- Budgeting & Forecasting: Lead the annual budget, projection, and forecast processes, aligning them with the group's financial objectives.
- Management Reporting: Collaborate on the preparation and presentation of monthly management dashboards to senior management.
- Policy Updates: Regularly review and update Cluster policies to ensure they remain relevant and effective.
- Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor a team of financial analysts, providing guidance and motivation to ensure timely and high-quality deliverables.
- Initiative Integration: Incorporate the group’s strategic initiatives, such as cost containment exercises and mission reporting, into budget and management result reports.
- Regulatory Reporting: Review and ensure the accuracy of reports submitted to the Ministry of Health (MOH), MOH Holdings (MOHH), and other stakeholders.
- Performance Analysis: Lead cross-cluster data analysis and performance comparisons to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Board Reporting: Oversee the preparation of papers and slide presentations for sub-board and board committee meetings.
- Project Leadership: Drive improvement projects and contribute to ad-hoc initiatives that support the organization’s mission and vision.
Job Requirements:
Education/Training/Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy or equivalent from a recognized institution. Chartered Accountant qualification preferred.
- Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in audit and commercial roles, with expertise in Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), group audit, and policy management.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; knowledge of Robotic Process Automation (RPA), Power BI, and Tableau is advantageous.
- Experience in the healthcare industry and familiarity with SAP S4 Hana is highly desirable.
