Overview:We are looking for a skilled Network and Technology Engineer to manage and optimize our network infrastructure and technology systems. This role is vital for ensuring robust network performance, security, and reliability, as well as supporting the integration and deployment of new technologies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Network Design & Management:Design, implement, and manage network infrastructure, including LAN, WAN, and wireless networks.
Configure and maintain network devices such as routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers.
- Technology Integration:Evaluate and implement new technologies to improve network performance and business operations.
Manage technology deployments, including hardware and software installations, upgrades, and migrations.
- Network Security:Develop and enforce network security policies and procedures to protect against unauthorized access and cyber threats.
Monitor network traffic and performance to detect and address potential security incidents.
- Troubleshooting & Support:Provide advanced support for network-related issues, including diagnosing and resolving connectivity problems.
Troubleshoot and resolve technology issues related to networking and technology integration.
- Performance Monitoring & Optimization:Monitor network performance and implement optimizations to ensure high availability and reliability.
Conduct regular assessments of network capacity and performance metrics.
- Documentation & Reporting:Maintain detailed documentation of network configurations, diagrams, and procedures.
Generate reports on network performance, incidents, and technology deployments.
- Collaboration & Training:Work with IT teams and other departments to support technology needs and project requirements.
Provide training and guidance to team members and end-users on network and technology best practices.
- Project Management:Lead or participate in IT projects involving network upgrades, technology rollouts, and system integrations.
Coordinate with vendors and service providers for procurement, support, and project execution.
Requirements:
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. (Equivalent work experience may be considered.)
Experience:
- Minimum, 1 years of experience in a network engineering role focusing on enterprise network design and administration.
Technical Skills:
- Expert level knowledge with routing and switching in a Cisco/Juniper environment
- Experience with Next Gen Firewalls - Fortinet, Palo Alto,
- Detailed knowledge of network (BGP) and application layer protocols (HTTP, FTP, DNS)
- Experience with user authentication and network security products and technologies
- Experience supporting Linux & Windows infrastructure
Additional edge:

Certifications:
- Relevant certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+, Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator, or Cisco CCNA are highly desirable.
