Westpoint Transit is looking for a Human Resource Executive to join our growing team, who’s primary responsibilities will revolve around recruiting, onboarding, employee relations, and ensuring compliance with HR policies and regulations. This role requires a proactive and detail-oriented professional who can contribute to fostering a positive workplace culture..
The scope of work of this role will be as follows:
1. Ensure compliance with all employment laws and regulations.
2. Stay updated on changes in work legislation and industry standards.
3. Oversee recruitment and selection processes, including sourcing, interviewing, and hiring new employees.
4. Maintain HR records, including employee files, compensation, and benefits information.
5. Handle employee relations and resolve any workplace conflicts or issues.
We are looking for a candidate with these qualifications:
1. Bachelor’s degree in human resources or a related field
2. Experience in recruiting, training, or organizational development.
3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
4. Expertise in resolving conflicts and fostering healthy workplace relationships.
5. Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
Thorough knowledge of employment laws, regulations, and best practices.
