Our client is a well-known player in the commodities industry and has a strong presence in Asia. They are currently seeking to hire a Project Engineer who ideally has experience in Maintenance & Repair.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and execute maintenance projects to guarantee the operational reliability of facilities.
- Supervise, evaluate, and coordinate procurement processes related to engineering tasks and equipment.
- Handle the issuance of purchase orders and work orders, and manage invoice processing for completed projects.
- Participate in all engineering activities related to retail stations, including renovations and new site developments.
- Schedule and coordinate onsite engineering work with contractors, ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental (HSE) standards.
- Liaise with government authorities and agencies to secure necessary engineering approvals.
- Develop and manage the engineering capital expenditure (CAPEX) and operational expenditure (OPEX) budgets.
- Perform additional tasks as assigned.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or related
- Minimum 5 years of experience with Maintenance & Repair
- Capable of excelling in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment.
