Reporting Relationships
Reports to Sales & Operational Managers on operational matters. Reports to the Group Financial Controller on accounting matters.
Job Responsibilities
- Maintains a full set of accounts (including inventory report);
- Prepare monthly sales and purchases reports;
- Prepare invoices, delivery orders, purchases orders and sales orders;
- Prepare weekly statement of accounts (if necessary);
- Prepare payments;
- Coordinate delivery by phone and whatsapp;
- Assist with cash flow projections, compiling year-end accounts;
- Budgeting – assist in compiling annual Profit and Loss Accounts and Balance Sheets;
- Prepare GST return;
- Liaise with the external auditor for statutory audit;
- Work on Saturday mornings (work from home) for operational requirements;
- Prepare employee expenses claim per entitlements and submit to QAF HR for payment; and
- Any other duties as and when deemed necessary by the Company.
Qualifications & Experience
- Diploma / Degree in Accounting or related
- Minimum 3 years’ relevant working experience
- Able to work independently, reliable and meticulous
- Strong financial, analytical and excel spreadsheet skills
- Possess excellent verbal / written communication and interpersonal skills
