Must-Have Skills: Retail & CPG - General Experience, Product Information Management (PIM)
Role Overview:
We are seeking a Project Manager to lead the execution of key strategic initiatives across both online and offline channels for a major global retail/CPG beauty client. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in delivering PIM solutions (such as Salsify or OpenText), as well as expertise in Customer Data Platforms (CDP), Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems, and Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC) initiatives. Candidates with this specialized experience are preferred over traditional project managers. This role demands a proactive leader capable of driving complex cross-functional projects from inception to completion.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the end-to-end delivery of D2C and B2B projects within the Retail/CPG sector.
- Manage the implementation of Product Information Management (PIM) solutions, ensuring they align with business objectives.
- Lead the integration and deployment of CDP and CRM systems to enhance customer engagement and data management.
- Collaborate with stakeholders, including product owners, technical teams, and marketing departments, to define project scope, goals, and deliverables.
- Create detailed project plans, timelines, and budgets, ensuring compliance with project milestones and quality standards.
- Identify and address project risks, providing timely solutions to ensure projects remain on track.
- Facilitate clear and effective communication among all project participants and stakeholders, ensuring transparency and alignment.
- Conduct regular project status meetings and prepare comprehensive reports for senior management.
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement by implementing best practices and leveraging lessons learned from previous projects.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, or a related field; PMP certification is an advantage.
- Over 5 years of hands-on project management experience in the Retail/CPG industry, focusing on D2C and B2B initiatives.
- Proven expertise in managing PIM, CDP, CRM, and SFMC implementation projects.
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies and tools (Agile, Waterfall, etc.).
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining a keen attention to detail.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
