Duties & Responsibilities
1. The QS Manager shall play a key role in the preparation of tender documents and quantities, providing cost estimates, evaluating tender proposals, conducting project feasibility studies and managing cost information for assigned project
2. He/she will need to monitor and verify all tender documents, drawings/details and corrigendum based on the document control process
3. Reviewing, preparing and monitor project cost budget, cash-flow for project, track changes in design/construction work, variations and adjust budget projections accordingly
4. Project Procurement and Purchasing
5. Project Progress Claims, Variations and Final Accounts
6. General contracts administration, including payment, claims and Variation Orders
7. Negotiation with subcontractors/suppliers, based on good knowledge of market rates
8. Handle any adhoc duties and tasks assigned
Requirements
1. 25 years working experience in QS Department in the construction industry
2. Very well verse in processes & requirements of construction industry projects
3. Should possess a minimum qualification of recognised Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering/Construction/Building
4. Possession of strong organisational, reporting and analytical skills
