Responsibilities
· Oversight on daily General Ledger Operations, in the areas of GL controls, monitoring and reconciliations.
· Maintenance of COA from a General Ledger & Control perspective for new accounts creation.
· Perform monitoring and checks to identify and escalate any risk and control issues, to ensure they are adequately addressed and resolved promptly.
· Support external/internal audit requests and update internal documentations/SOPs.
· Able to perform data analysis on the General Ledger.
· Understand end to end processes and constantly challenge status quo for continuous improvements of control and efficiency.
Skills/Requirement
· A recognized university degree in Accounting/Finance/Business or its equivalent.
· At least 3 years of relevant working experience in accounting with familiarity on accounting entries/journals.
· Proficient in Microsoft applications (Excel and PowerPoint)
· Experience in business intelligence and reporting tools such as Power BI and QlikView
· Able to re-engineer and automate processes to drive efficiently.
