In this role, you'll be involved in every stage of the systems and solutions lifecycle, from conception to implementation.
This includes everything from gathering stakeholder requirements and evaluating systems to structuring administration, ensuring seamless maintenance, and supporting user adoption. Your work will be critical in shaping the technological backbone of our group.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive digital transformation initiatives: As our technology champion, you’ll spearhead digital transformation projects that align with our business goals, identifying opportunities for tech-driven innovation to enhance efficiency, customer experience, and competitiveness.
- Enhance customer experience through technology:In F&B, customer experience is paramount. You’ll implement and integrate technologies that elevate the customer journey and set us apart in the market.
- Empower staff with technical support and training: As the go-to expert, you’ll ensure our team fully leverages technology. By resolving issues swiftly and providing training, you’ll minimize downtime and boost productivity across the organization.
- Create and maintain essential documentation: Clear and comprehensive documentation is key to effective system management. Your work will ensure consistency, streamline troubleshooting, and provide valuable references for future upgrades.
- Tailor solutions and ensure peak performance: Our operations depend on reliable IT systems. You’ll oversee the configuration and daily administration of systems like Lark, Dropbox, and Google Workspace, aligning them with the unique needs of each business unit to ensure performance and reliability.
- Streamline operations through integration and automation: By integrating software and automating workflows, you’ll eliminate bottlenecks, enabling our teams to focus on delivering exceptional service and experiences.
- Safeguard our data with robust security and compliance: Your implementation and monitoring of security measures will protect sensitive information, ensure regulatory compliance, and build trust with our stakeholders.
- Manage strong relationships with vendors: Effective liaison with vendor partners and service providers will ensure timely delivery of services, clarity in expectations, and quick resolution of technical issues.
- Promote data analytics and business intelligence: By optimising data analytics tools, you’ll provide actionable insights that empower decision-makers and help business units leverage data for informed decision-making.
- Evaluate emerging technologies: To keep the group ahead of the curve, you’ll research and evaluate emerging technologies, recommending those that offer a competitive edge
Qualifications:
- Professional Experience: Minimum of 3 - 5 years of experience in the technology sector or within a technology/IT department, preferably in an SME setting. Proven track record in managing and optimising technology solutions is essential.
- Technical Expertise: Proficient in managing and administering systems such as Lark, Dropbox, Google Workspace, and AI tools. Familiarity with a range of enterprise systems is crucial for effective system management.
- Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical abilities with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving technical issues. Your problem-solving skills will be key to driving technology solutions and overcoming challenges.
- Effective Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, actionable insights for non-technical users, ensuring smooth adoption and understanding.
- Organisational Excellence: Exceptional organisational skills and keen attention to detail. Ability to manage multiple responsibilities efficiently and ensure that all aspects of system management are meticulously handled.
