Job Overview:
As a Finance Intern, you will assist the finance department in various financial tasks, gaining practical experience in financial analysis, budgeting, and accounting. This internship provides a hands-on opportunity to learn about corporate finance and the internal workings of a finance team in a dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation of financial reports, such as income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
- Support the finance team in budgeting and forecasting activities.
- Help with data entry, financial document filing, and organizing financial records.
- Participate in the analysis of financial data to identify trends and assist in strategic decision-making.
- Collaborate with team members on month-end and year-end close processes.
- Perform account reconciliations and review discrepancies.
- Assist in auditing processes by providing relevant documentation and reports.
- Participate in ad hoc financial projects and initiatives as assigned.
Requirements:
- Currently pursuing a degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- Able to commit 6 months internship
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and basic accounting software.
- Attention to detail with strong organizational skills.
- Good communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
- Basic understanding of financial statements and accounting principles.
