Responsibilities and Duties
- Follow ASL HSSEQ policies.
- Prepare accounts for assigned vessels up to monthly closure for Senior Accountant review.
- Issue client invoices, manage payments, and oversee vessel finances.
- Perform all accounting tasks, including invoicing, expenses, payments, payroll, and ledger updates.
- Conduct bank reconciliations and review statements.
- Validate master’s month-end cash statements.
- Settle accounts and payments after approval.
- Submit financial reports and notify the Senior Accountant of variances.
- Assist in preparing annual financial reports.
- Record entries and generate monthly reports per client’s standards. (DANAOS/SHIPNET)
Requirements:
- Diploma in Accountancy/Finance/CPA/ACCA
- 4+ years of accounting experience in vessel management and reporting
- Proficient in Accounts, Tax, and GST reporting
- Detail-oriented team player who meets deadlines
- Experience in Shipping/Ship Management is essential
- DANAOS/SHIPNET module experience is preferred
