Job Summary:

The Business Development Manager (BDM) will play a crucial role in driving sales growth for Capital Engineers and Industries Pte Ltd . You will be responsible for developing and executing strategic initiatives to identify, qualify, and convert new leads into loyal customers. This position requires a highly motivated and results-oriented individual with a strong understanding of the storage rack industry and a proven track record of success in business development.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive business development plan to achieve assigned sales targets.
  • Conduct thorough market research to identify new business opportunities and understand customer needs.
  • Prospect and qualify potential leads through various channels (e.g., cold calling, email marketing, attending trade shows).
  • Develop strong relationships with key decision-makers at target accounts.
  • Deliver compelling sales presentations that highlight the benefits of your company's storage rack solutions.
  • Negotiate and close sales contracts, ensuring all terms and conditions are met.
  • Manage and maintain a strong sales pipeline, tracking progress and identifying potential roadblocks.
  • Prepare and deliver proposals and quotes tailored to specific customer requirements.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with existing customers to ensure repeat business.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends and competitor activity to identify new business opportunities.
  • Work collaboratively with other departments (e.g., production, marketing) to ensure seamless customer experience.
  • Prepare sales reports and analyze data to measure performance and identify areas for improvement.

Qualifications:

  • Preferred Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in business development or a related sales role
  • Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and achieving revenue growth
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Experience in the storage rack industry (a plus)
  • Understanding of customer relationship management (CRM) systems (a plus)
