As an Account Director, you will be responsible for overseeing a portfolio of assigned corporate clients and actively driving sales and growth within one of ViewQwest’s most important and strategic markets. You will be assigned a specific business segment with quota responsibility, focusing on market penetration and growth.
Responsibilities
- Target Achievement: Meet and exceed assigned targets, with a focus on acquiring Monthly Recurring Revenue, Strategic Products, and Incremental Renewals.
- Relationship Management: Establish and cultivate productive and professional relationships with key contacts within the assigned business segment.
- Client Engagement: Develop a trusted advisor relationship with key accounts and customer stakeholders to identify and capitalize on growth opportunities.
- Solution Development: Drive solution development efforts that address customer needs by coordinating and facilitating cross-functional teams, including support, technical consultants, and management resources, to meet account performance objectives and customer expectations.
- Sales Pipeline Growth: Build and maintain a healthy recurring sales pipeline for the assigned business segment.
- Market Awareness: Stay updated on industry knowledge, market conditions, and competitors' products and pricing strategies.
- Strategic Planning: Complete strategic account plans, weekly revenue forecasts, and commit to Business Revenue objectives.
Requirements
- Educational Background: Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, IT Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience: 8-10 years of account management experience in an IT/Telecommunications company. Experience managing large corporate customers is an added advantage.
- Sales Skills: Target-oriented individual with proven sales experience dealing with B2B clients, including decision-making, problem-solving, and negotiating skills.
- Account Management: Proven capability in managing large, complex corporate accounts with a high level of accountability.
- Creative Problem Solving: Ability to think creatively, identify problems, and offer solutions with minimal guidance.
- Leadership: Ability to direct and motivate indirect internal stakeholders toward the achievement of established objectives.
