Main Duty
To serve as a passenger van & 10-foot lorry driver by transporting passengers or goods safely and according to schedules in conformance to Singapore regulations.
Scope of Work
-Safely operate and drive Class 3 vehicles in compliance with Singapore traffic laws, company policies, and industry
regulations.
-Safely transport workers to and from various work locations, and on time.
-Report any mechanical issues or defects to the maintenance team for timely repairs.
-Follow safety protocols when loading, securing, transporting, and unloading materials. Ensure that all materials are
properly contained and secured to prevent falls, spills, or accidents.
-Use personal protective equipment (PPE) and follow safety guidelines to prevent exposure to hazardous materials &conform to PPE requirements stipulated by the workplaces that the driver is instructed to drive to.
-Ensure that routine checks are done on the assigned vehicle and cleanliness of the vehicle is always maintained.
-Schedule and coordinate with the Yard superintendent for regular servicing and repairs.
-Complete trip logs, delivery receipts, and other relevant documentation promptly.
-Communicate professionally with clients, subcontractors, and team members during pick-ups and deliveries.
-Assist with the loading and unloading of goods and equipment as required.
-Take immediate action in case of spills, accidents, or other incidents, and report them to immediate superior.
Additional Duties Outside Scope
-Follow all company rules and regulations and understand all company policies, procedures, and work instructions.
-Perform other duties as assigned by immediate supervisor.
