Our client is looking for an IT Infrastructure Specialist who can work in Japan for 2 years.
Job Responsibilities:
➤Serve as the main point of contact for all IT infrastructure-related matters for the customer in Japan.
➤Understand and assess the customer's IT infrastructure, which includes Nutanix servers, VMware hypervisors and Windows servers located in the Singapore Data Centre.
➤Provide expert advice and recommendations to improve the customer's IT infrastructure.
➤Coordinate with the IT team in Singapore to ensure seamless communication and implementation of infrastructure projects.
➤Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure-related issues promptly to minimize downtime and disruption.
➤Monitor the performance of the IT infrastructure and suggest enhancements to optimize efficiency and performance.
➤Conduct regular reviews and assessments of the customer's IT infrastructure to identify areas for improvement.
➤Prepare and present reports on the status and performance of the IT infrastructure to the customer and internal stakeholders.
➤Maintain up-to-date documentation of the IT infrastructure, configurations, and processes.
➤Stay current with industry trends and advancements in IT infrastructure technologies.
➤Any other duties assigned by the Management.
Job Requirements:
➤Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
➤Min 3 years of relevant experience
➤Proven experience in IT infrastructure management, with a focus on Nutanix servers and VMware hypervisors.
➤Strong knowledge of Windows server administration
➤Strong understanding of data centre operations and infrastructure best practices.
➤Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
➤Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
➤Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
➤Ability to coordinate and manage projects effectively.
➤Proficiency in English; ability to speak Japanese is an added advantage but not mandatory.
➤Willingness to be stationed in Japan for 2 years during the secondment.
➤Strong analytical and organizational skills.
➤Customer-oriented mindset with a focus on delivering high-quality service.
➤Ability to adapt to new technologies and continuously improve technical skills.
➤Proactive and self-motivated with a strong sense of responsibility.
➤Candidate who can speak Japanese to communicate with counterparts in Japan is a valuable asset, though not a mandatory requirement.
