The incumbent is responsible for construction site management in a Light Rapid Transit Project. He/she will need to coordinate with client, PTO and Consortium Partner. He/she will also be responsible for supervision of sub-contractor & the preparation and execution of site infrastructures including e-systems (PTW / Material Storage) under coordination with Japan Office.

Construction Management
- Manage and control of all on-site construction activities under safety and supervisory personnel
- Ensuring that all drawings, instructions and/or activity plans used as the basis of activities on site are reasonably compliant with interface requirements
- Effective oversight management of the work of all subcontractors
- Liaising with staff in other departments and with external contractors.
- Ensuring strict adherence by all site personnel to the safety policies and practices as defined in the approved Safety Plan
- Ensuring strict adherence by all site personalities to the quality assurance policies and procedures as defined in the approved Quality Assurance Plan
- Ensuring the progress of the Works remains on schedule, and that the schedule accurately reflects the actual state of progress
- Preparation of final as-built drawing which also reflects the changes at site and send these to the Engineering Manager.
- Technical specifications and various issues, negotiation for contract term and stake holders’ management (e.g. residents) with government agencies, subcontractors and vendors
Requirements
- Bachelor of Civil or Mechanical Engineering
- Minimum 3 years’ experience of construction management in MRT/LRT system
- Native level of Japanese writing and speaking to liaise with Japan counterparts (JLPT N1) is a must as liaising with Japanese internal counterparts and external suppliers is necessary
- Professional knowledge of construction and site supervision of LRT System
- Knowledge of Project Management
- Effective communication skills both verbally and in writing with multiple stakeholders including superiors, colleagues, contracted staff and individuals both inside and outside the organization
- Computer knowledge (Microsoft Offices, AutoCAD, 3DTrue View and etc.)
