The incumbent is responsible for responsible for progress control and execution of Testing & Commissioning for LRT System. He/she is also responsible for coordinating with various stakeholders on issues related with LRT System
(Vehicle / Signalling / Power Distribution / Communication / Guideway / Depot Equipment), client, PTO and Engineers working in Singapore/Japan.
Job responsibility
Engineering and Commissioning
· Testing and commissioning for LRT system
(Vehicle / Signaling / Power Distribution / Communication / Guideway / Depot Equipment).
· Coordinate with various stakeholders for design works associated with LRT system
· Prepare and finalize the acceptance of Method Statement and Test Procedures until client’s approval.
· Lead engineer for system troubleshooting, rectification, testing.
Management
· Manage and coordinate project works as assigned by project manager
· Coordinate with management, team members, vendors (including Japanese supplier), contractors and client representatives.
· Update and report to Consortium Partner in Japan.
Others
· Should be familar with LTA’s regulations
· Responsible for progress control and execution of Testing & Commissioning for LRT System.
· Responsible for coordinating with various stakeholders on issues related with LRT System
(Vehicle / Signalling / Power Distribution / Communication / Guideway / Depot Equipment).
· Coordination with client, PTO and Engineers working in Singapore/Japan.
· Responsible for supervision of site test engineers coming from Japanese supplier.
· Responsible for preparation for Method Statement and Procedures for Test activities including obtaining approval by the client.
· Troubleshooting and technical support for LRT system during T&C, DLP and After Sales.
Requirements
• Bachelor of Civil engineering
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in LRT system
• Minimum 5 years’ Overseas job site experience in MRT/LRT system
Experience in Testing & Commissioning team of LRT system
• Professional knowledge of LRT System (Vehicle / Signalling / Power Distribution / Communication / Guideway / Depot Equipment).
• Native level of Japanese writing and speaking to liaise with Japan counterparts (JLPT N1) is a must as liaising with Japanese internal counterparts and external suppliers is necessary
· Effective communication skills both verbally and in writing with multiple stakeholders including superiors, colleagues, contracted staff and individuals both inside and outside the organization
