Job Description:
To work closely with Chef Katori, and the rest of the Kitchen team to prepare, cook and present dishes up to required standards. You will ensure good housekeeping and help maintain overall cleanliness of the kitchen area, safeguarding our high standards of food hygiene and quality.
- Follow Chef Katori and the Head Chef's guidance for the culinary operations
- Assist in prepping of required ingredients and sauces
- Check, monitor and ensure adequate supply at the cooking stations
- Prepare specific food items and stock-up of required fresh produce for the day's usage
- Adhere to strict hygiene standards and good food handling practices at all times
- Responsible for stock rotation by ensuring the freshness of ingredients to be used
- To practice proper inventory management through the safeguarding of stock taking and ordering of supplies
- Any other skill-development or ad-hoc tasks as assigned
Job Requirements:
- minimum 1 year related experience in a similar Japanese Fine Dining Restaurant or as a Food & Beverage (F&B) Chef with basic culinary skills will be advantageous, but not compulsory

- A valid Food Hygiene Certificate registered with Singapore Food Agency (SFA)
