Key Responsibilities:
Accounts Receivable (AR):
- Manage invoicing, collections, and payment processing.
- Reconcile AR accounts and ensure timely collection of outstanding payments.
Accounts Payable (AP):
- Process vendor invoices, ensuring accurate and timely payments.
- Reconcile AP accounts and manage vendor relationships.
Government Grants:
- Handle all aspects of government grants, including identifying applicable grants, preparing and submitting applications, and ensuring compliance with grant requirements.
- Maintain accurate records of grant applications and ensure timely submission of all necessary documentation.
Profit & Loss (P&L) Management:
- Prepare and analyze P&L statements to track financial performance.
- Provide insights and recommendations based on P&L analysis to support business decisions.
General Administrative Duties:
- Assist with office administration tasks such as filing, document management, and correspondence.
- Support other departments with financial and administrative tasks as needed.
Financial Reporting:
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Assist in budgeting and forecasting activities.
Compliance and Audits:
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate with external auditors and assist with audit preparations.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in AR/AP management.
- Strong knowledge of government grants, including application and submission processes.
- Experience with P&L management and financial reporting.
- Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel).
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Ability to work independently with flexible hours.
