Our client, an established External Asset Manager (EAM) in Singapore has the following role for Account Opening and KYC.
JOB DESCRIPTION :-
This role will be responsible for conducting KYC (Know Your Customer) procedures, ensuring the completion of client documentation, and facilitating account opening processes. Additionally, the successful candidate will play a key role in liaising with banks, maintaining compliance standards, and collaborating closely with the finance department to track investment returns.
Key Responsibilities :
- KYC and Account Opening: Conduct thorough KYC procedures to gather client information and required documentation for account opening. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
- Client Communication: Communicate effectively with clients to collect necessary information and address any inquiries or concerns regarding account opening procedures.
- Bank Liaison: Serve as the primary point of contact with banks, coordinating account opening processes and resolving any issues or discrepancies as needed.
- Compliance Oversight: Assist in maintaining compliance standards by staying informed of regulatory updates and ensuring adherence to industry guidelines. Collaborate with the compliance team to implement and enforce compliance protocols.
- Financial Reporting: Work closely with the finance department to track investment returns, monitor financial performance, and prepare reports for internal stakeholders.
- Product Knowledge: Possess a strong understanding of financial products and services to support the trading desk in submitting operations and completing research data.
- Sales Support: Assist the sales team in organizing presentations and providing relevant financial information to clients as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS :-
- Bachelor's degree. Master's degree or professional certification (e.g., CFA, CPA) preferred, and knowledge in finance
- Proven experience in financial operations within a bank, fund manager, or financial institution. Familiarity with investment strategies and portfolio management principles.
- Advanced proficiency in CVS, Excel (including Macros), and PowerPoint. Ability to analyse complex financial data and generate insightful reports.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey financial information effectively to diverse audiences.
- Familiarity with Bloomberg terminal usage and other financial software tools.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial calculations and reporting.
