Well, not exactly. But with the creative limits you push, the frayed nerves you’ll have to defuse, and Bond-like composure you need to exude under pressure, it often feels that way.
The real job, however, does call for a highly individual talent. Look, you’ve got to be quite special.
Your Responsibilities:
• Perform daily monitoring of social media communities and scheduling of posts
• Analyse the performance of social media content to draw meaningful insights which help with furthering our client’s social strategy
• Produce monthly social media performance reports across multiple retainer clients
• Assist account managers with campaigns including liaising with online influencers (e.g. bloggers, social media creators)
• Keep abreast of social media trends to help in developing creative and engaging content
• Conduct market research to drive big ideas (e.g. pitch research, social media audit, competitor landscape)
• Spearhead several content pieces of your own by working closely with the creative team in the content creation process
What We Like to See:
• Genuine passion for advertising
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Excellent in multi-tasking with strong time management skills
• Has a strong sense of urgency, responsibility and discipline
• Possess good critical thinking and an analytical mindset
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, especially Excel and PowerPoint
• Being a Facebook/Instagram addict is not a requirement but a bonus!
