Job Summary:
To assist the Senior Manager (Systems) in overseeing the Company’s Information Technology infrastructure in terms of planning, evaluation, and managing the deployment/implementation process.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee/monitor the maintenance and assist in IT projects, including system upgrades, migration, and deployments of IT infrastructure (hardware, software, servers, networks, storage, and facility/equipment used within the data center).
- Monitor and ensure that all firmware(s) and other 3rd Party patches are updated for all devices and devices are not end-of-support (EOS)/end-of-life (EOL).
- Reviewing Change Management process/procedures are adhered to by Managed Services Team/service providers to ensure that changes to IT systems are assessed/analyzed and approved before implementation.
- Backup and Recovery Management.
- Security and Risk Management with a focus on maintaining compliance with industry security standards, including the Center for Internet Security (CIS) benchmarks.
- IT Audit and Compliance.
- Vendor and Project Management.
Requirements:
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field.
- At least 2 years of relevant working experience.
- Strong knowledge of the Windows Operating system.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and other common business applications.
- Experience with networking and cybersecurity fundamentals.
- Meticulous with a keen eye for detail.
- Self-driven with attention to detail and ability to follow through with task(s).
- A good team player, systematic and well-organized person.
