Job Description
The Senior Sales Manager will report to the Managing Director and will be focusing in contract logistics. you will be responsible on developing new accounts (vertical: Luxury/Retail, FMCG, Semi-conductor, etc.)
Your other responsibilities will include:
- Manage and grow your relationship with the contractual customer's subsidiary in line with the company's worldwide strategy
- Create a local business plan for expanding the supply chain to be included in the local value proposition for the global tender.
- Positioning the Logistics & Services products while consciously increasing the share of wallet
- Expand local presence of all products with the customer's sub-entity through new opportunities and sub-suppliers.
- Create account business plans that includes ocean freight as well as logistics and services products on global scale
- Ensure a smooth business onboarding process and contract compliance
- Position the company in relation to local decision maker of global tender success and local decision makers on country-relevant products.
The Successful Applicant
- 10 years in logistics, and within the contract logistics scene a plus
- Sales professional with ambition and drive in the supply chain and logistics industry
- Experience in the FMCG or retail verticals will be good to have, if not, other verticals such as automotive, semi-conductor, IT/tech.
- Strategic negotiation techniques, influencing skills and procurement strategies
- Financial savviness and data driven
- Regional sales accounts/clients focusing in SEA market
