Your new role
You'll be working in the FSO SG Engage Team specializing in Account structure Change in Wealth Management Singapore. Our Account Structure Change Team is responsible for providing comprehensive support for structure changes to our Clients and Client Advisors in various market teams.
What you'll get in return
- Support Wealth Management Client Advisors and our clients on all Account Structure Change matters.
- Provide a broad spectrum of high-quality services, such as account opening, account maintenance, credit, KYC/AML, and support with other complex client onboarding processes
- Facilitate the changes to /Onboarding of new client relationships and accounts for Individuals, Domiciliary Companies, Legal entities, Financial Institutions, Trusts, Funds, External Asset Managers
- Ensure compliance with MAS 626 notices and Guidelines, and to mitigate risk (Legal / Regulatory / Reputational) for the bank.
- Review and assess the adequacy of the Source of Wealth narrative and corroboration submitted by the Front Office for new bank prospects and / or existing clients.
- Address sanctions and other AML risks identified during the banks' name screening guidelines.
- Build strong relationships with key stakeholders, such as Front Office, Legal, Compliance and Risk management teams
- Manage complex troubleshooting as required
- Work within a highly motivated Client Account Structure team, and help to continuously improve processes (i.e. sharing lessons learnt and best practices)
- Potentially have contact with clients to support the onboarding
- Follow and adhere to the Global Investment Bank code of ethics and the relevant cross-border regulations.
What you'll need to succeed
- Solid banking experience or at least a bachelor's degree in a banking/ finance-related discipline
- 2 years' experience or more in a similar Client Account Structure Change role dealing with Wealth Management clients and supporting Client Advisors
- Experience in AML/KYC and regulatory guidelines e.g. MAS 626
- Solid IT skills, ideally with Global Investment Bank programs such as CAWB, CBD, etc., as well as willingness to learn new tools and processes
- Very good problem-solving skills • an excellent spoken and written knowledge of English & Mandarin (which would be advantageous in serving our APAC clients)
- Ability to work accurately & efficiently
- Excellent (self-organisation & communication skills
