Assistant Sales Manager

Job Overview:


The Assistant Sales Manager is responsible for developing sales strategies and achieving sales targets. This role involves overseeing the sales process, managing client relationships, and ensuring customer satisfaction.


Key Responsibilities:


Sales Strategy and Planning:

  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve sales targets and expand the customer base.
  • Set sales target and goals.

Sales Channel Development

  • Develop new channels for selling the product and services such as department store, online retail channels, etc.
  • Develop sales opportunities with other Pest Control servicing companies and suppliers.

Sales Operations:

  • Oversee the sales process from lead generation to closing deals.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities and customer interactions in the CRM system.

Customer Relationship Management:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders.
  • Handle escalated customer issues and complaints.
  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.

Collaboration and Communication:

  • Work closely with marketing, product development, and customer service teams to ensure alignment on sales strategies.
  • Communicate sales performance and forecasts to senior management.
  • Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and conferences.

Reporting and Analysis:

  • Prepare regular sales reports and presentations for senior management.

Qualifications:


Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Marketing, or a related field.

Experience:

  • Proven 2 to 3 years’ experience as a sales manager or in a similar role.
  • Demonstrated success in achieving sales targets and managing a sales team.

Skills:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.

Personal Attributes:

  • Results-driven with a strong focus on achieving goals.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • High level of integrity and professionalism.

Working Conditions:

  • This position may require travel to meet with clients, attend industry events, and visit company branches.
  • Flexibility to work extended hours as needed to meet sales targets and deadlines.
  • 5 days working week, occasionally needs to work during weekend or public holidays (time off in lieu)

  • Competitive salary based on experience (S$3,500+)
