Job Overview:
The Assistant Sales Manager is responsible for developing sales strategies and achieving sales targets. This role involves overseeing the sales process, managing client relationships, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Strategy and Planning:
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve sales targets and expand the customer base.
- Set sales target and goals.
Sales Channel Development
- Develop new channels for selling the product and services such as department store, online retail channels, etc.
- Develop sales opportunities with other Pest Control servicing companies and suppliers.
Sales Operations:
- Oversee the sales process from lead generation to closing deals.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities and customer interactions in the CRM system.
Customer Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders.
- Handle escalated customer issues and complaints.
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.
Collaboration and Communication:
- Work closely with marketing, product development, and customer service teams to ensure alignment on sales strategies.
- Communicate sales performance and forecasts to senior management.
- Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and conferences.
Reporting and Analysis:
- Prepare regular sales reports and presentations for senior management.
Qualifications:
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Marketing, or a related field.
Experience:
- Proven 2 to 3 years’ experience as a sales manager or in a similar role.
- Demonstrated success in achieving sales targets and managing a sales team.
Skills:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
