Field Application Engineer (Foundry)
Manage foundry customer development programs with the sales team, serving as the primary technical account interface. Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to achieve business and design-in goals from NPI to mass production. Facilitate communication, support technology reviews, and contribute to new business development initiatives.
- Manage customer technical profiles and build strong relationships through credibility and trust.
- Ensure successful evaluation, adoption, and design of products using Company's foundry technology.
- Understand and address customer-specific technical requirements.
- Collaborate with HQ and teams to deliver on customer needs and action plans.
- Oversee customer technical deliverables from evaluation to mass production.
- Drive decisions, eliminate technical roadblocks, and resolve customer issues.
- Present technical status to internal and external senior management.
- Support customer design activities and coordinate resources.
- Manage project schedules and requirements.
- Provide market insights and suggest improvements for market positioning.
- Support new business development with technical advice.
- Prepare weekly reports and assist HOD with global reports.
Job Requirement
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering.
- 5 to 15 years of experience in foundry process/customer engineering (broad-based and specific process nodes).
- Recent experience in semiconductor process, product, or device engineering, preferably with major foundry or device manufacturers.
- Ability to assess foundry technologies and customer technical capabilities.
- Basic knowledge of all foundry processes to understand and communicate customer needs.
- Good understanding of the foundry ecosystem.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
