Responsibilities:
- Plan, schedule and monitoring of Quantity Surveyor’s work for respective projects
- Ensure works are completed on time for submissions to client, parallel to project schedule both in re-measurements and change proposals
- Provide quotations for any new additional work that arises out of the original scope of works
- Check and approve the change proposal
- Prepare forecast of overall projects costs inclusive of revised MTO’s and change proposals of each project
- Meet up with clients to reconcile on the re-measurements and change proposals submitted
- Compilation and close-up of final account for each project completed
- Prepare and monitor invoices and payments from clients for each project
- Provide contractual advice to the PM or Project Team for any commercial issues
- Any other ad-hoc duties being assigned by Superior
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering / Quantity Surveyor / Construction Management discipline
- At least 8 - 10 years of experience in large marine shipyard constructions projects
- Experienced in the quantification and valuation of works for claims is essential
- Sound knowledge of commercial processes such as contracts, subcontracting, tendering and procurement
