Responsibilities (Must Have):
- Design, implement, and manage robust network infrastructures for various clients.
- Configure,maintain, and troubleshoot network devices, including routers, switches, firewalls, and Wireless Controllers.
- Ensure the security, efficiency, and reliability of IT infrastructure.
- Conduct regular network performance assessments and provide technical support.
- Collaboratewith team members to develop and implement effective network solutions.
- Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies to provide innovative solutions.
- Prepare detailed documentation and reports for network configurations, processes, and service records.
Technical Skills:
- Experience: 5 - 6 years of working experience as a network engineer.
- In-depthknowledge of Wi-Fi standards (e.g., 802.11ac, 802.11ax), protocols, and technologies.
- Extensive understanding of network standards, protocols, and technologies.
- Proficiency with network design tools, network management systems, and performance monitoring tools.
- Strong knowledge of network security principles and best practices.
Technology Skills:
- Experience with network hardware/software platforms from leading vendors such as Cisco, Juniper, Palo Alto Networks.
- Experience with Cisco Meraki and Mist Wireless, RF configuration, wireless security, and Wi-Fi deployments (Meraki & Mist) is a Plus
- Security: Familiarity with Cisco ISE, 802.1X, TACACS, Firewalls (Palo Alto), digital certificates, IPSEC, and access control for IoT devices.
- Routing and Switching: Proficiency in TCP/IP, Route-Redistribution, IP Routing, STP, RSTP, 802.1x, MAB, Port Channel, and Stacking.
- Troubleshooting: Skills in debugging, log analysis, Wireshark, and packet capture analysis.
- Network Migration Skills.(Wired and Wireless)
- Experience with site surveys, reporting, and wireless troubleshooting using Ekahau Sidekick is plus
Preferred Certifications:
- Cisco CCNP certifications or equivalent,
- JNCIA-MistAI and JNCIS-MistAI Wireless
- Ekahau Certified Survey Engineer (ECSE)
- Equivalent industry certifications.
