Job Description:
- Prepare full set /Partial of accounts, financial statements and assist in audits, GST preparation for Smart Group of Companies.
- Prepare accounting schedules for audit and financial statements preparation.
- Ensure accounting deadlines are met.
- To assist basic accounting duties including but not limited to checking and data entry of sales and stock inventory, bookkeeping, petty cash management and banking duties.
- Prepare bank reconciliations of account receivables and payables to GL.
- Performing day to day transactions and provide daily administrative support to accounts and retail operations.
- Prepare and issue payment vouchers and cheque for payment or GIRO.
- Prepare invoices for billing purposes.
- Work with other company functions to resolve payment and receipt issues effectively and efficiently.
- Actively liaise with Auditor, Tax Agent and Bank and provide them with the required information efficiently and accurately.
- Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned by management.
Job Requirement:
- Diploma/Degree in Accounting/Finance/ACCA.
- Minimum 2-3 years of accounting experience.
- Possess a willing-to-learn attitude.
- Team player with good communication skills.
- Proficient in MS Office and Excel.
- Proficient in Microsoft 365 will be advantageous.
- Preferable with audit experience.
