As Technical Sales Representative (TSR), you are the face of our company and our brand. Typically the TSR is the first line of communications with the customer, maintaining excellence in customer service. Roles and Responsibilities:
· Uncover customer’s needs and solve their problem using relevant products or services. Go down to customer’s plant site to understand their applications.
· Perform live product demonstrations at customer’s plant site.
· Use your technical knowledge to explain what we can offer to customers. We shall provide you with training.
· Guide them towards a request for quotation with technical competency and integrity.
· Call our manufacturers overseas and convince them to provide the solutions our customers need
· Respond to customer’s request for quote
· Arranging with customers on their preferred delivery method.
· Oversee product installations
· Comply with the terms and conditions stated in the customer’s PO for the documents submission.
· Manage long-term customer relationship and prospects aided by CRM and other tools
Qualifications and Requirements:
· Diploma in Mechatronics/Chemical/Mechanical/Materials Engineering or equivalent. Degree preferred.
· At least 2 years of work experience in science, engineering OR sales and marketing of engineering products, services or technologies.
· Hands-on mechanical aptitude is preferred.

· Patient, emphatic. Good active listener with curiosity to uncover and understand customer’s underlying needs.
· Excellent communicator. Likes meeting face-to-face with customers at their job-sites. When necessary, they need to advocate for the customers.
· Posesses requisite skills and technical ability needed to accomplish job responsibilities; seeks to continue developing new skills to adapt to a changing environment.
· Ability to prioritize and manage time effectively.
