We are seeking a seasoned Data Operations professional with Financial Services / Private Equity experience to support our client on an 8 month project. The role involves data collection and reporting for portfolio companies, working with private equity teams, and managing the company's internal portfolio monitoring process and technology platform.
Main duties include coordinating with deal teams, leading data management, checking data quality and integrity, supporting all global data initiatives, and preparing high-level reports and dashboards.
You'll also assist in on-boarding, monitoring, and reporting on company activities and ensuring all data needs of the leadership at regional and global levels are met. Regular collaboration with the Global Data Operations team is an essential part of the role.

The Role
- Assimilate regional reporting across investment and portfolio management processes and work closely with deal teams to build knowledge with active investments to better serve the data collection and reporting on exit activities.
- Streamline data management and ensure data completeness & accuracy.
- Lead consistent data management, maintaining a single source of truth for Portfolio Company data across its lifecycle, including on-boarding new companies, monitoring existing companies, and reporting on exit activities.
- Oversee data quality controls to ensure the completeness and accuracy of Portfolio Company data, and assist with implementing corrective actions promptly to address any identified data issues.
- Work closely with the Global Data Operations team to offer adaptable support for all data initiatives and global functions as needed.
- Prepare high quality reports, dashboards, and ad-hoc data requests across APAC.
Your Profile
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Analytics, Accounting, Engineering, or related quantitative field
- Advanced Excel and SQL skills
- Familiarity with private equity ecosystem and financial statements
- Data visualization expertise with tools like Tableau, Power BI, etc.
- Excellent English skills, fluency in Mandarin is a plus
- Teamwork oriented, proactive, result-driven, and high-integrity
