Description
1. To provide assistance to students in the usage of their Personal Learning Device (Apple iPad), including duties such as:
- Managing students’ and staff devices via Apple School Manager.
- Assisting in monitoring students’ iPad and manage associated settings on the Device Management Application.
- Providing technical support to students’, including logging service requests with the service provider.
2. To assist in media production for school events and/or external school activities, including duties such as:
- Photo-taking and video-taking using school-owned equipment.
- Creating videos and photo-montages using iMovie, Photoshop or equivalent software.
- Setting up and managing associated equipment for live-streaming or online broadcasts/meetings.
3. To plan for, prepare materials and conduct lessons for students on areas of media production and digital productivity such as:
- Basic skills in using a digital camera or equivalent equipment.
- Videography processes and production stages (including filming, editing video footages, inserting subtitles and the use of a green screen and teleprompter).
- Digital productivity skills in using Google Suite (Slides, Docs, Sheets, Sites, Forms, Drive), Microsoft Office tools, Canva.
4. To work with the ICT Technical Team :
- On the preparation and troubleshooting of ICT equipment in classrooms, computer labs, broadcasting room and other special rooms.
- Assist in managing and tracking of school’s ICT/AV equipment and resources (e.g. iPads, Macbooks, cameras, printers, microphones, etc.) with up-to-date documentation.
- To assist in MOE initiated rollouts and projects.
Requirement:
- Diploma in Information Technology, Computing, Media Production or any other relevant certification.
- Minimum one year of working experience in managing ICT systems, equipment and media production. Experience in school-related environment is preferred.
- Competent and well-versed in one or more of the following:
- Managing iOS devices using Apple School Manager and Device Management Applications.
- Photo-taking and videography using DSLRs and standalone camcorders.
- Adobe Premier Pro and After Effects, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator and/or other related image & video editing products.
- Broadcasting software such as Zoom, Google Meet, Microsoft Teams and other relevant video-conferencing platforms.
- Good interpersonal, communication and team player with a high level of initiative.
- Able to work independently on multiple projects at a time.
- MOE-registered coach/instructor and remain successfully registered throughout the Contract Period.
