Job Description Summary
As an Electronics Hardware Engineer, you will innovate and enhance door access control systems, collaborating with industry partners and internal engineers to develop cutting-edge products. Your goal is to lead advancements in door access control technology.
Key Job Accountabilities
Industry Knowledge:
- Comprehensive knowledge of door access technologies and emerging innovations.
Experience:
- Minimum 5 years in hardware and firmware design and manufacturing of door access systems.
Electronics Circuit Design:
- Expertise in ARM-based MCU and application processors.
- Proficiency in RS422/RS485 communication.
- Knowledge of Wiegand interface.
- Skills in analog circuit design.
- Familiarity with ISO7816 and ISO14443 circuit design.
- RF experience for ISO14443.
Additional Skills:
- PCB design and manufacturing.
- Firmware development.
- EMI/EMC certification.
- Linux and/or Android.
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Understand and improve existing door access control systems.
- Develop next-generation products with the firmware team.
- Review third-party electronics designs.
- Develop test environments for factory testing.
- Collaborate with Contract Manufacturers for production and testing.
- Support project teams in resolving hardware installation issues.
- Collaborate with third-party vendors on housing design.
- Lead innovation in the door access control business and partnerships.
