Job Objectives
Group Technology and Operations (GTO) Global Markets IT division in Singapore is looking for an experienced Senior Technical Analyst to join its dynamic derivatives development team to lead in providing solutions for Market Risk Scenarios requirements and Risk Regulations with usage of historical market data.
Market Risk Scenarios
Key focus is to enhance Market Risk Scenarios system using historical market data from external data vendors and internal systems. That includes historical data calibration, backfilling, applying proxies and generate Stress & historical scenarios for Market Risk business for Risk Regulatory program FRTB
Key Responsibilities
· Implement enterprise Historical Market Data requirements catering primarily to Market Risk business
· Work alongside with vendor consultants on product design, architecture insights & improvements.
· Hands-on experience with building solution for data calibration, backfilling, proxy, historical scenarios generation for Market Risk and Regulatory requirements
· Take guidance from in-house Solution architect for best implementation practice.
· Work along & liaise with Technical Delivery Manager for product solution delivery throughout entire SDLC phases of project delivery.
· Analyze & deliver non-functional requirements like security, reliability, performance, maintainability, scalability, and usability.
Key Requirements:
Technical & Functional Skills & Experience
· Coding & implementation experience on one of the prominent Enterprise Historical Market Data Vendor system catering primarily to Market Risk
· Experience using hands-on development in vendor enterprise data management system with
· - Vendor's proprietary scripting/coding language
· - Scripting languages like Java-script, Python, VBA
· Techno-functional expert to analyze Market Risk Users’ Historical Market Data requirements and formulate technical design & functional documents.
· Strong technical knowledge and/or platform knowledge of NeoXam Data Hub Product
· Experience in designing & implementing large-scale, highly available applications or other large project implementation
· Practical experience on Front to back technologies including RDBMS preferably MS SQL server
· Performance tuning for the system to exceed SLAs and OLAs
· Experience in service-oriented technologies
· Proven result-oriented person with a focus on delivery
· Experience in actual systems development work, with prior coding, functional specifications and technical specifications and systems development and testing experience (in aggregate no less than 6 years)
· Good understanding and experience in software development cycle
· Highly effective communicating with technical stakeholders, proficient communicating with non-technical stakeholders
· Good problem solving, analytical, synthesis, system thinking and solutioning skills
Education
· Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering or similar domain
Related professional/technical certification will be advantageous although not mandatory
