The Events Manager will be responsible for overseeing the planning and execution of event projects, including manpower planning and operational logistics. In addition to event management duties, the role includes a strong focus on business development to expand MHG’s event services. Duties and Responsibilities:
Project Planning and Execution:
- Lead the planning, coordination, and execution of events project.
- Develop comprehensive event plans that detail timelines, resources, budgets, and risk management strategies.
Manpower Planning:
- Assess staffing needs for each event and oversee the recruitment, scheduling, and management of event personnel.
- Coordinate with medical professionals, part-timers, and support staff to ensure adequate coverage and smooth operations during events.
Logistics and Operations:
- Oversee all logistical aspects of event operations, including venue setup, equipment management, and on-site coordination.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations, particularly in the context of medical events.
Vendor and Supplier Management:
- Negotiate with vendors, suppliers, and contractors to secure services and materials at competitive rates.
- Manage relationships with key partners to ensure high-quality service delivery.
Budget Management:
- Develop and manage event budgets, ensuring cost-effective use of resources.
- Monitor expenses and provide regular financial reports to senior management.
Client Relationship Management:
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with current and potential clients, understanding their needs and proposing tailored event solutions.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and repeat business.
Market Research and Analysis:
- Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities within the healthcare event sector.
- Analyze industry trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to refine service offerings and strategies.
Proposal Development and Sales:
- Develop compelling proposals and presentations to secure new business.
- Work closely with the marketing and sales teams to generate leads and convert them into clients.
Strategic Partnerships:
- Identify and establish partnerships with healthcare organizations, associations, and other relevant stakeholders to enhance MHG’s event services.
- Collaborate with internal teams to leverage these partnerships for mutual growth.
Post-Event Analysis:
- Conduct post-event evaluations to gather feedback, measure success against objectives, and identify areas for improvement.
- Prepare comprehensive reports detailing the outcomes, challenges, and learnings from each event.
