Job Duties:
- Providing primary operational technical support and assist the functional support teams
- Improving complex operations (DRP, Migrations, Major maintenance etc.)
- Improving reliability and quality of the company’s systems (automation, monitoring, alerting, security, RCA etc.)
- Reducing time-to-market by implementing CICD pipelines where possible
- Managing technical issues, escalations and ensuring good level of delivery
- Maintain, improve and standardize existing workflow processes and framework
- Promoting knowledge sharing within the organization (trainings, documentations etc.)
- Bridging the gap between Dev and Ops
- Maintain programmable code outlined in technical instructions and specifications for operating systems.
Work Schedule
Required to work on Paris and/or New York and/or Asia time zone*, i.e. 2pm to 11pm/4pm to 1am (summer season) or 3pm to 12am/ 5pm to 2am (winter season), or in accordance to the planned time schedule as required. If necessary, you may also be required to start work earlier or to extend working hours.
May be required to be available for on-call support during non-business hours and/or on weekends. Allowance is claimable for such hours.
Job Requirements:
- Minimum a Bachelor’s degree in any of these faculties: Computer Science/ Information Technology/ Programming & Systems Analysis/ Science (Computer Studies)
- Minimum 3 years of experience with UNIX environments
- Minimum 3 years of experience in scripting languages such as Python, Powershell
- Minimum 2 years of hands on experience in any of these tools and technologies such as Ansible, Gitlab, Azure Devops, Docker, Kubernetes
- Experience with task schedulers such as Control-M
- Good understanding of IT ecosystems and application architectures
- Knowledge about CICD pipelines, ITIL practices, Agile practices, Lean and Observability tools such as Grafana, Kibana, Prometheus, AppDynamics or Dynatrace is a plus
