Responsibilities- Projects
- Oversee the planning, analysis, recommendations in support of project (engineering, procurement & construction).
- Control the overall project budget and attend all the project meeting with clients.
- Construction activities may be related to new facilities or modification to existing sites.
- Assist in developing and implementing construction policies that support project construction.
- Responsible to site progress according to schedule set
- Project planning and management, Project co-ordination, supervision and monitoring the progress of site works.
- Interface and coordinate with Engineering supporting construction activities.
- Reviews and client interface liaison and project management team liaison.
- Prepare periodic management reports.
- Ensure timely requisition of resources (e.g., labour, materials, equipment etc.)
- Ensure works progress according to the establish schedule, and main contractor’s master installation schedule, and where deviations arise, initiate the appropriate actions.
- Lead in the administration of contract, claim, variation, and any dispute arise.
Responsibilities- Design
- Designing / Configuration of DCS Control system.
- Review of P&IDs as per Process / Application requirements.
- Reviewing and Approval Instrument Hook-up diagrams.
- Review of Cause & Effect diagrams, Alarm and Trip List.
- Preparation of Bulk MTO.
- Control valve material selection and sizing by calculating CV and Valve opening percentage.
- Reviewing of vendor documents & drawings.
- Participation in 3D Model reviews.
- Review, Evaluate and approve the documents and drawings issued by contractor for instrumentation and control engineering.
- Visiting FAT/SAT, work sites, vendors and consultant facilities to verify / establish design conditions and assistance during construction, commissioning and troubleshooting of facilities.
- Hardware functionality check at the time of Pre-Fat and FAT of System & Marshalling Cabinets.
- Reviewing engineering drawings, technical specifications, cost estimates for installation & Commissioning, reviewing contractor's Purchase / Work order proposals & submittals.
- Procuring project material, coordinating and following up with vendors for projects.
- Preparation of detailed engineering documents like Instrument Index, IO List, Instrument specification and data sheets, cable schedule etc.
- Highly proficient in interpretations of Equipment Layout Drawings, P&I Diagrams, Schemes,Hook-Up diagrams, Control Schemes, Functional logic Diagrams etc.
- Hands of experience in Installation, Commissioning, Testing, Calibration, and Troubleshooting of various field instruments like Control Valves, On/Off valves, Water & Gas analyzers, pressure transmitters, temperature transmitters, flow transmitters, flow- switches, pressure switches, level transmitters, level switches, P/I and I/P converters, Solenoid Valves, DP Transmitters, etc.
Requirements
• Degree/Diploma in Electrical and Instrumentation Engineering or equivalent is preferred or Equivalent
• Preferably with minimum 15+ years’ experience as Electrical and Instrument Discipline of Maintenance/ Brownfield capex/ Shutdown in Oil and Petrochemical
