Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Chef de Partie at Pasta Bar, SJS Group located in Singapore. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of a specific section within the kitchen, ensuring food quality and presentation, supervising junior kitchen staff, and assisting in menu planning and development. The role requires strong culinary skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
· Ensure all food preparation meets standards.
· Prepare and present high-quality food.
· Supervise and oversee staff.
· Keep all working areas clean and tidy and ensure no cross-contamination.
· Assist in positive outcomes from guest queries in a timely and efficient manner.
· Ensure foodstuffs are of good quality and stored correctly.
· Planning menu.
· Contribute to controlling costs, improving gross profit margins, and other departmental and financial targets.
· Report maintenance, hygiene and hazard issues.
· Other tasks as assigned by Management
Requirements:
· Positions and salary offered will commensurate with experience and expectations
· Experience in Italian cuisine an advantage
· Previous Chef de Partie experience required
