Our client - a financial payment gateway company based in Singapore is currently hiring for Head of Cloud COE to develop and execute a comprehensive cloud strategy, cloud governance, foster collaboration, and ensure alignment with business objectives.
Responsibilities:
- Continuously refine and execute the cloud strategy, roadmap, and governance framework to drive business growth and efficiency.
- Manage and mentor the Cloud Center of Excellence (COE) team, offering guidance and support to maximize performance and development.
- Work closely with business stakeholders to capture requirements and promote effective cloud adoption.
- Encourage the use of cloud technologies for innovation, experimentation, and developing proof-of-concepts.
- Uphold best practices in cloud security, compliance, and risk management to protect organizational assets.
- Perform cloud risk assessments, audits, and ongoing compliance monitoring to mitigate potential risks.
- Develop, oversee, and optimize cloud budgets, forecasts, and return on investment (ROI) analyses.
- Establish and nurture partnerships with cloud vendors, service providers, and industry experts.
- Drive the development and implementation of training programs to enhance cloud skills across the organization.
- Ensure cloud initiatives are in sync with IT and business strategies, objectives, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Assist with internal and external audits related to cloud governance, security controls, third-party risk assessments, and the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
- Create and present metrics and reports to senior stakeholders and regulators to provide insights and track performance.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent experience.
- At least 8 years of experience in leading and managing architecture, operations, and governance for AWS Cloud.
- Demonstrated proficiency in managing critical workloads on AWS Cloud.
- Proficient in infrastructure engineering and automation.
- Extensive experience with cloud governance, including frameworks, standards, and best practices.
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional is required; AWS Certified Security – Specialty and AWS Certified Advanced Networking – Specialty are advantageous.
- Strong understanding of computer networking, including network zoning, routing, resiliency, load balancing, firewalls, and VPNs.
